Driftwood Lakeside Minehead Terms & Conditions

 

BOOKINGS


  • If you wish to book the caravan please let us know and we will send through the booking form. The lead person on the booking form must be over 25 years and they are responsible for ensuring the caravan is not damaged. A security bond is required of £100 for all bookings and this will be returned within 14 days of the end of your holiday once the caravan has been checked.


  • Please note that Butlins charge an admin fee of £10 per booking which we have included in the price of the holiday. However, for late bookings (2 days before the holiday) there will be an additional fee of £20 which will be added to the cost of your holiday.


  • All guests must be detailed on the booking form in order for Butlins to conduct checks against the electoral roll. Changes to the booking will incur an administration fee of £25.


  • A deposit of £100 payable within 7 days is required to secure the booking. 
  • The remaining balance plus £100 security bond is due 8 weeks before your holiday begins. A reminder will not be sent
  • Your booking confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.

 

Entertainment Passes


  • 2 adult and 2 child passes are included in the price of your holiday. 
  • Additional passes (up to 6 in total) can be purchased through us and paid for when the balance is due 8 weeks before your holiday.
  • Adults passes are priced at £32 during school holidays and £25 off-peak (for up to 4 nights).
  • Child passes are priced at £20 during school holidays and £15 off-peak (for up to 4 nights).

 

Bedding


  • Bedding can be hired at an additional cost of £20.
  • All beds will be made up for your arrival should you choose to add bedding hire.
  • Towels, Tea towels and bath mats are not provided.

 

ARRIVAL


  • Guests will need to come in through the Main/West entrance (just before the Funfair), park up in the car park and come into the walk in check-in building, which is opposite the main entrance, to collect their arrival pack. Access to the resort will be strictly 4pm



PARKING (pLEASE SEE IMAGE BELOW)


  • Only one car (no bigger than a people carrier) is permitted on the caravan park per booking. Additional cars are only able to park in the main car park.
  • The caravan has a numbered space (21 painted in yellow) the caravan facing the decking is 21A, their space is near the start of the row as you enter the caravan park. Please ensure you display your parking permit provided in your welcome pack in your vehicle.


     

DAMAGE TO the CARAVAN


  • When you arrive at the caravan please check for any damage that might have been missed and report it so that you are not liable for this.
  • Please inform us of any accidents, damage or broken or soiled items.
  • Please do not take pushchairs or bikes and scooters etc inside the caravan.
  • Please remove dirty and muddy shoes.
  • Children must be supervised at all times and not permitted to be left alone in the caravan.

 

Other Conditions

 

  • Smoking is not permitted in or near the caravan. Please dispose of cigarettes appropriately.
  • Pets are not allowed in the caravan.
  • Barbecues are strictly not allowed on the decking and must be away from caravans / trees.
  • Please do not flush nappies / wipes / sanitary items down the toilets as this will lead to blockages which may results in the loss of your security bond.
  • Guests are advised not to bring their own electrical appliances to the resort. However, if you do so these will be used at your own risk.

 

DEPARTURE


  • The caravan must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
  • Please ensure the caravan is tidy on departure e.g. bins, fridge and freezer emptied, cutlery and crockery washed and put away, fridge, microwave and oven / hob clean.
  • Please ensure the heating and fire are turned off.
  • Please return your key to East Gate on departure.

 

  

CANCELLATIONS


  • The deposit is non-refundable and therefore we recommend you take out Holiday Insurance in the event of you needing to cancel or for any injury, loss or damage.
  • Should you need to cancel we will refund the security bond in full and the balance as below:


  • 8 weeks – 80% refund
  • 7 weeks – 70% refund
  • 6 weeks – 60% refund
  • 5 weeks – 50% refund
  • 4 weeks - 40% refund
  • 3 weeks – 30% refund
  • 2 weeks – 20% refund
  • 1 week   –  10% refund
